Volunteers Needed to Support Farmers to Families Food Distribution

As you may have heard, the Farmers to Families food distributions are

shifting to a new format, beginning next Monday (July 6th). There are a few
sites happening in your area next week that could use your help! These
events will continue through July and August (as you'll see from the
sign-up spreadsheet!)

We're working with our partners at Hunger Free Vermont to recruit
volunteers for shift (or more!) to help out at the distributions.
Specifically, you will be welcoming people as they drive up, checking them
in, and sharing information/flyers with folks as they wait to pick up their
food. It's pretty straightforward, and you'll be provided with the
information and process you'll need to be supported - now we just need you!

The sign-up spreadsheet

lists
all of the distributions scheduled so far, with specific dates, times, and
locations.

If you feel comfortable being on your feet for up to 5 hours, talking with
our neighbors and community, and want to help connect people with the help
we all deserve, please fill in your name, phone number, and email address
into the sign-up sheet for the date and location you can cover. Someone
from the State's Emergency Operations Center or Hunger Free Vermont will
then be in touch with you with more information.

Please help us connect our communities with food resources and information!
