THE STORY: We meet Dwain, a homeless man, and as the play opens a couple
has invited him in for Christmas only to discover he has been keeping a journal
which turns out to be quite a masterpiece. They urge him to have it
published as a way out of homelessness, but he has reasons for not wanting
to change his lifestyle. Amidst the comedy and dramatic moments are
unexpected turns in the plot and eye-opening moments sure to provide
conversation for the ride home (PLEASE NOTE: there is some mild adult
language).
Directed by Scott Johnson, the cast includes Miles Conklin, Chris Leary,
Carrie Anne Quinn and Meghan Bullard. Old Church Theater will
donate proceeds after expenses to homeless shelters of the upper valley.
