Americans are now less likely to belong to groups that ask their
communities, “What should we do?” This decline weakens our society and
threatens our democracy. Tufts University professor and author Peter Levine
reflect on how we can reverse the trend and revive civic life.

First Wednesdays is a program of the Vermont Humanities Council and is
co-hosted by the Norwich Public Library and the Norwich Historical Society.
