Fifth Business in Concert, Jan. 21, West Newbury

Fifth Business, live in concert, West Newbury Hall,  Jan. 21, 7 pm.  Heat

up the night and our NEK neighbors, as well.   By donation to benefit the
Fuel Fund from the NEK Council on Aging.  People are cold up north!

Leaving songs about mate selection to the younger set, Fifth Business
music addresses some of life’s more practical questions – what is the best
way to save for retirement, how can we achieve contentment in today’s
the political climate, and that perennial poser, what is worn under the kilt?
It’s only art sometimes, but it’s always fun!

Fifth Business has been sharing songs about rural living and problematic
behaviors for over a dozen years.  Their lively blend of original and
traditional music has lent a happy note to farmers’ markets and town halls
from the Upper Valley to Northern Vermont.  It's a sizzle: Nick Anzalone’s
genre-defying fiddle, Stuart Corso’s  button-popping button accordion,
Steve Davie’s expressive guitar and octave mandolin, with Heather Alger and
Kate Davie taking vocals and random percussion.

Featuring its warm welcome and bountiful refreshments, the West Newbury
Hall is at 219 Tyler Farm Rd., West Newbury, VT.  Next concert is Feb. 18,
Rough and Tumble.  See westnewburyhall.org for more information.
