Student Community Garden Mural

Calling all students from 7th to 12th grade to join TEENS SPEAK in painting "Community as a Garden". Local artist, Matthew Denton, has a created a mural template for students to add their vision and color.

Where: The Gazebo on Main Street in Bradford at Denny Park
When: Tuesdays and Thursdays
September 15th, 17th, 22nd, 24th
Time: 7am-8am and 3pm-5pm
*NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED*

Local teens are getting together to paint a mural. Come join them! No "artistic" ability required. There are designated times in order to ensure your safety. All materials will be sanitized onsite. Masks are required. Let's be social while maintaining a bit of space.

At Tenney memorial Library, Newbury, Vermont

Masks, distancing and gloves required.

We will have some gloves available, but it would help if you used your own.

You will be asked to sign in with an email and.or phone number which will
only be used should we find that someone who attended the sale tested
positive for the virus. Bring a pen.

The Corona virus gave many people time to sort through their book
collections and donate to the library.  We have many new books in all
genres and for all ages and interests.

This is an opportunity to save some money and help the library at the same
time.
Volunteers are l needed for the sale.  Please call or email the library
with your name and what two hour slot is best for you.

MINDFUL MEDITATION change of day.

As of LABOR DAY meditators will ZOOM on Wednesdays from 6:30pm.  Everyone
is welcome.

Book Discussion on Thursday, September 3rd at 7:00pm

The History of Love by Nicole Krauss will be the topic.

Pins and Needles meets on Thursdays from 9:30-11:30am continues.

Scrabble meets on Thursdays from 6:00pm to 8:00pm continues.

Open House at The Hub (Following COVID Safety Guidelines)
Please join us for an Open House at The Hub on Thursday, September 17, 6-8
p.m. Take a tour of our community's new teen center, and have some tasty
treats made by our teens! (Please join us for an Open House at The Hub on
Thursday, September 17, 6-8 p.m.! (For COVID safely, capacity will be
strictly limited to 10 people at a time, and masks and 6-foot distancing
will be required.)

The Hub is the new teen center in Bradford, serving youth in grades 7-12
from the towns of Bradford, Newbury, Corinth, Waits River, and Topsham,
Vermont, and is located at 9 Barton Street (at the corner of Main Street)
in Bradford, VT. The Hub's hours are Wed. 3-6 pm, Thurs. 3-6, Fri. 3-9 pm,
Sat. 2-9 pm.

The Hub offers a safe and fun place for youth in our community to spend
time. There is quiet space to socialize, do school work (with help
available), with board games, video games, air hockey, pool, ping pong and
foosball tables, laptops to use, a piano, arts and crafts supplies, and
other activities that teens may request.
