The Hanover Garden Club is holding an impromptu Perennial Plant Sale at their holding beds in the Pine Knoll Cemetery, 121 S. Main St, Hanover, NH.
The sale will be conducted over 2 mornings, 9 till noon on Friday Sept 11 and Saturday, Sept 12.  
Pricing will be simple, typically $5/ plant or clump. Cash or check.
Bring your own bags or boxes for plants you buy.
The holding beds are full of healthy plants and members have donated many more from their own gardens.  
Plants will be dug as needed.  To maintain safety, patience may be necessary as you await your turn to choose plants.  
All moneys raised at our sales go towards the Town Garden funds, we hope you have enjoyed the gardens around downtown Hanover this year.

COLLECTION EVENT this Saturday, September 12 from 9 - Noon at the Thetford Town Garage.

The Greater Upper Valley Solid Waste Management District (GUV) will be accepting the following materials:

Electronics - No charge

Bulky Waste (furniture, rugs, broken stuff, etc.) - Charged according to approx. volume and weight

Tires - Charged according to size ($4 - $25)

NO hazardous waste, fluorescent bulbs, batteries, or construction debris

EXACT CHANGE or check to "GUV." It will be helpful if you have your check already made out. We anticipate many participants and a long line. Please follow the signs. Be patient and kind.

MASKS required.

Selectboard Special Meeting *Draft* Agenda– Online Only –*Friday,
September 11, 2020 8:00pm. Notice is hereby given to the residents of the Town of Thetford, Vermont
that the Thetford Selectboard will hold the second hearing (and potentially
final) on September 11, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. online via Zoom (details below)
to consider for adoption the following proposed Thetford, Vermont Town Plan
pursuant to Chapter 117 of Title 24, Section 4385a and Vermont Statutes
Annotated.

The proposed Thetford, Vermont Town Plan includes an Introduction and 13
chapters: Housing, Education, Future Economic Development, Facilities,
Services and Utilities, Natural Resources, Flood Resilience, Energy,
Transportation, Historic Resources, Scenic Resources, Land Use,
Relationship of the Plan to the Region, Implementation of the Plan. A full
text of the draft plan is on file in the Thetford Town Clerk’s Office and
available on line at the Town of Thetford website. The plan proposes goals
and policies that impact the entire town of Thetford. This plan is intended
to be consistent with the goals established in Title 24, Section 4302.

The purpose of this hearing is to receive public comment on the updated
draft plan and to discuss any comments provided by the public.
