November is Family Stories Month at Billings Farm & Museum

Did you know that all three daughters of Frederick Billings helped oversee the operations of the farm and estate after their father’s death in 1890? And that Elizabeth Billings, as an amateur botanist, collected 1,128 specimens within a 6-mile radius of the Billings estate? These fascinating women are featured in a special program throughout the month of November with programs at 12 and 2pm.

While at Billings Farm, see the afternoon milking of the herd at 3:15pm and meet one of our Gentle Jersey cows at 11am and 1pm. Plus make a paper decoration craft and warm up by the fire pit with hot cider and cider donuts. Billings Farm & Museum is open on weekends and holidays from 10-4, November through February. Find the daily schedules at billingsfarm.org/todays-schedule/.

Note: All guests over age 2 are required to wear a mask indoors at all times, and outdoors when 6' of distance cannot be maintained.
